Test Shop Software With Five Real-World Job Scenarios

A software demonstration usually follows a prepared route. Your shop does not. A customer changes their mind, a part has no confirmed arrival time, and the person who took the call leaves before the next update. Those ordinary interruptions make useful evaluation material.

Before comparing products, write down five fictional jobs and ask each vendor to work through the same situations. Use invented customer details and sample amounts. The exercise below is a way to test a workflow, not a claim that Crovalt or another product supports every step.
